I'm back
Yep, it's been a while...
Things have been pretty busy around here lately. In the last month I wrote 50,234 words of the sequel to my novel, produced a play and most recently, did absolutely nothing. The day after the show closed Teya and I disappeared to the coast for four days. It was a brilliant decision, after a hectic month we ate, swam and slept and little else. It was a great reminder of the pleasure of doing great things and the pleasure of just chilling.
For those of you in Ghana, I can highly recommend the resort we visited. Sisimbo Beach Resort is between Mankesim and Saltpond - about two and a half hours out of Accra. It's incredibly well fitted out, in a beautiful location and the staff are efficient, helpful and attentive. The beach is also very clean. (You know my views on that...) I know it's nice to go the eco route with bucket showers and compost toilets, but if you occasionally crave the luxuries (air con, hot showers etc) then this is the place for you. And at a reasonable price too.
So now I'm back. Time to dust off the cobwebs and get back to it.
