That's Awesome!
Way back in June 2008, Neil Pasricha was looking for a way to tap into what was good in the world, the little things that were overlooked in the usual daily rush: those small things that really are just awesome, like the smell of fresh cut grass, roasting the perfect marshmallow or a good floss after a tough steak. So began 1000 Awesome Things, a blog that, every weekday, introduces one more awesome thing. Since then there's been two books, numerous web awards and a TED talk (see below).
Four years later, the countdown is coming to an end, with roughly four weeks to go. If you've never visited the 1000 Awesome Things website, or followed Neil on Facebook, now's the time. I defy you not to find at least one thing that makes you smile and nod and say, 'yep, that's awesome'.
